Baku-APA. The Turkish army Wednesday has hit a Daesh position in northern Syria, according to an official statement, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.
The statement issued by General Staff said the "position of terror organization Daesh was hit with six Firtina [storm] howitzers".
It also said a total of 525 targets had been hit since Operation Euphrates Shield -- which aims to drive Daesh out of the region to the south of Turkey’s border -- was launched on Aug. 24.
