On July 7, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Ukraine had launched more than 400 drones toward the Russian capital ahead of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit in Türkiye, AFP reports.
"From last night until 6 a.m. local time this morning (10 a.m. on July 7th in Vietnam time), more than 430 drones flew towards the Moscow area," Sobyanin posted on the MAX platform.
He said that most of these drones were shot down "from a distance," while 36 were "destroyed while approaching Moscow."
