Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa announced that Damascus will soon sign an agreement with the European aerospace company Airbus, APA reports citing BFMTV.
"Syria is about to sign a contract to order eight Airbus aircraft, and I believe they will be delivered soon," the head of the Arab Republic said in an interview with the French television channel BFMTV, excerpts from which were cited by his press service.
Al-Sharaa did not specify the terms under which the aircraft would be provided to Syria.
