A civil helicopter belonging to a private company which crashed in the Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul on the morning of March 10, killed seven people on board, APA reported citing Turkey’s NTV TV channel.
According to sources, the helicopter that belonged to the Eczacıbaşı Group was carrying Eczacıbaşı Vitra Russia CEO Salim Özen and four Russian guests identified as Aleksandır Vanin, Igor Kochergin, Luidmina Churova and Elena Badraga along with Turkish pilots”, Hurriyyet reported.

A total of seven people were on board of the the crashed aircraft, belonging to the Turkish industrial Eczacıbaşı group, including two pilots and four foreign guests of Russian origin, Istanbul Mayor Vasip Şahin confirmed, APA reported citing Daily Sabah.
The crash took place at 11:21 a.m. local time when the Eczacıbaşı helicopter was heading from Istanbul to the Bozüyük facilities of the group, located in the northwestern Turkish province of Bilecek, for a meeting scheduled at 12:00 a.m.
Eczacıbaşı Vitra Russia's CEO Salim Özen and four Russian guests were on board of the crashed jet.

At least five people were killed after a fire-fighting helicopter has crashed on Friday in Istanbul's Büyükçekmece district, located in the European side of the metropolis, a local mayor said, APA reported citing Daily Sabah.
Rescue teams, including fire squads have been dispatched to the accident site.
Smoke was rising in the first pictures emerging from the accident site.
A total of seven people are believed to be in the crashed helicopter, including two pilots and four foreigners, which is reported to be Sikorsky S-76 model and belonging to a private company.
