According to a statement by the Muğla Governor's Office, 65 people from 43 homes have been evacuated due to the wildfire, APA's Türkiye bureau reports, citing local media.
It was noted that the intensive care and palliative care units of Seydikemer State Hospital have also been evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Forest firefighting efforts entered a second day after a wildfire broke out in a forested area in the Uzumlu neighborhood of the Kaş district in Türkiye's Antalya province, APA's Türkiye bureau reports, citing local media.
The fire is being fought with three aircraft, eight helicopters, 18 fire engines, heavy equipment, and 135 personnel.
The steep, sloping, and rocky terrain has complicated firefighting operations.
Meanwhile, a wildfire that broke out in an olive grove and scrubland in Türkiye's Manisa province has been brought under control. The fire damaged 40 hectares of land, and cooling operations are continuing.
