Ukraine is attempting to use “energy weapons” against Hungary by interrupting oil supplies from Russia via the Druzhba pipeline, APA reports.
As Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated during a meeting with activists from the ruling Fidesz-Hungarian Civic Union party, Ukrainians “have an energy weapon in their hands and have now decided to use it for blackmail.”
According to Orbán, “this energy weapon consists of stopping oil supplies to Hungary via the former Druzhba pipeline.” The head of the Hungarian government emphasized that Budapest would not bow to threats from Kyiv. “Hungary cannot be blackmailed. Anyone who bites us will break their teeth,” Orban warned.
