Since February 24, the beginning of the war, the number of people fleeing Ukraine has exceeded 4.2 million, the statement announced by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, APA reports.
According to the report, about 39,000 Ukrainians left the country on Sunday alone. Europe has not seen this level of migration since World War II.
It noted that 90% of those who left Ukraine were women and children. People eligible for military service are not allowed to leave the country.
