"Ukraine wants security guarantees," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reports.
He said Ukraine agreed to the requirements on neutral status and non-membership in NATO.
The Minister noted that the status of Crimea and Donbas would be agreed upon by the leaders. “ A significant achievement was gained in Turkey. Serious issues should be first discussed by foreign ministers, and then leaders should meet. We are working on a meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries in the second stage. We hold negotiations with both sides. The two sides wanted to hold this meeting when they were ready. Steps will be taken for a meeting between the leaders in the coming days. Although it is impossible to say the exact date, the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Russia will meet in 1-2 weeks."
