Turkish President says Russian, Ukrainian Presidents may meet in Istanbul

"I hope that if parties agree, we can organize a meeting of Russian and Ukrainian leaders in Istanbul," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, APA's bureau in Turkiye reports.

Erdogan has noted that both leaders have a positive attitude toward the suggestion of organization of the meeting. Erdogan has said that the date of the meeting should also be determined by Putin and Zelenskyy.

President Erdogan has added that he will hold a phone conversation with Vladimir Putin at 4:00 p.m local time today.
