“It is not correct step for Türkiye to wait at the door for years due to political hindrances. The European Union must stop this mistake now,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalist while returning from a visit to Hungary, APA’s Turkish correspondent reports.
“European Union should carefully evaluate Türkiye’s position from now on. Türkiye is more ready to join the European Union than many member countries, but has been kept waiting at the door due to political hindrances for years," he emphasized.
