Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to Kiev on Wednesday, marking the prime minister's first visit to the country, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Ukraine and Sweden stand together in defense of humanity, freedom and Europe. Together we will be victorious," the Ukranian president wrote on his Telegram Channel.
During the joint press conference, the Swedish prime minister reaffirmed the country's support to Ukraine in the face of Russia's "unjustified aggression." Additionally, Kristersson touched upon Kiev's potential membership to the European Union, underlining that Ukraine "belongs" to the bloc.
