Sweden will allocate a new package of military aid for Ukraine in the amount of 3.4 billion kroner ($ 314 million), said the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom Paul Jonsson, APA reports citing Teller Reporter.
"The Ukrainians said that they really need new support packages, primarily ammunition and spare parts ... The total cost of the package is approximately 3.4 billion Swedish kronor," TASS quoted him as saying.
The minister clarified that the kingdom will supply Kyiv with ammunition for previously sent equipment, including the CV 90 infantry fighting vehicle, the Strv 122 tank and the Archer.
Earlier, US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. said that US spending on aid to Ukraine has reached $113 billion, while millions of Americans are losing access to food stamps and health insurance.
