Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde announced on Tuesday that the country would expel three Russian diplomats for breaching international law, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Today, the Foreign Affairs Ministry decided to deport three Russian diplomats whose work in Sweden is not in accordance with the Vienna Convention," Linde said.
Several European countries revealed similar moves over the past two days, including Italy, Denmark, Germany, and France, following accusations that Russian forces committed war crimes in the Kiev region. The European Union and the United States are also expected to push more sanctions on Moscow this week.
