Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced Wednesday that Spain will send six Leopard 2A4 battle tanks to Ukraine and could send more "if necessary," APA reports.
Robles expressed the government's willingness during a Congress debate on the military aid provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
According to the minister, Spain has already made 54 deliveries to that country (42 by air and the rest by land and sea). However, she did not give details about these or the total amount of weaponry delivered to Kiev for security reasons.
