Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on 2 August, APA reports citing BelTA.
The Russian leader called his Belarusian counterpart. The heads of state reviewed the working issues they discussed during the recent meeting on Valaam.
Vladimir Putin expressed sincere gratitude to Aleksandr Lukashenko for his participation and assistance in the prisoner swap that took place the day before.
