Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight into July 16, killing two people and injuring six others, Glavred.info reports, citing Ukrainian officials.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko said that a 16-year-old teenager was among the injured. Three of the victims were hospitalized.
It was reported that in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district, a missile struck warehouse buildings.
In the Darnytskyi district, missile debris fell in an area with non-residential buildings, while another non-residential building was directly hit at a separate location.
Klitschko noted that fires broke out both at the warehouses in the Sviatoshynskyi district and in the non-residential areas of the Darnytskyi district.
