Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced at a press conference on Saturday that Poland is proposing to add a complete trade embargo to the European Union's sanctions on Russia due to its Ukraine military operation, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Poland proposes to add a trade blockade to the sanctions package as soon as possible: both seaports - a ban on the entry of ships under the Russian flag into ports - and a ban on trade by land," Morawiecki said.
He also noted that he supported the blockades of trucks with goods heading to Russia and Belarus, which were organized on Saturday at the Polish-Belarusian border in the Kukuryki area.
