Baku-APA. At least seven people, including four children, have died in a crash of two small planes in central Germany, APA reports quoting Press TV.

The seven victims were killed after the two planes collided near the town of Woelfersheim, north of Frankfurt, Germany, on Saturday.

The aircraft crashed into neighboring fields, about 365 meters apart.

A police spokesman said there could be an eighth person among the victims, adding that the identity of the passengers is still unknown.

In October 2011, two planes crashed in northern Germany and eastern Belgium, killing four people altogether.

A two-seat propeller plane hit the ground near the German city of Langwedel, leaving both its passengers dead.

Two other people lost their lives, when a sporting plane crashed near the Belgian city of Theux, which is close to the German border.
