The implementation of the provisions of the memorandum will be discussed in Doha, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said while commenting on reports about a possible meeting between Iran and the United States in Doha, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
"We have not planned a meeting with the US side," the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
Baghaei noted that the discussions expected to take place in Doha tomorrow will focus on the implementation of the relevant provisions of the Islamabad Memorandum.
According to him, one of the issues to be discussed is the implementation of the provision concerning the release of Iran's frozen assets held in Qatar.
Baghaei stressed that the implementation of Article 11 of the memorandum, concerning the release of Iran's frozen assets, is already underway.
