Azerbaijani and Kazakh foreign ministers hold phone call

On June 30, a phone call took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev, MFA told APA.

The phone call discussed issues on the agenda of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The ministers emphasized the importance of successful cooperation and mutual support within international and regional organizations, noting the importance of continuing coordinated activities on multilateral platforms.

Views were exchanged on activities carried out and upcoming initiatives within Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction Kazakhstan's high-level representation at the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress held in Azerbaijan, emphasizing its importance in terms of promoting common history, culture and spiritual heritage, as well as further strengthening solidarity in the Turkic world.

During the phone call, the sides also exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
