Baku-APA, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Friday urged the international community to press Israel to stop violating Lebanese airspace, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
"We call on the international community to press Israel to stop its attacks and violations and to commit to the UN resolution 1701, " Suleiman said in a press release.
Earlier in the day, state-run National News Agency reported that Israeli jets have been flying at a medium altitude over Lebanon's southern regions of Bint Jbeil and Bekaa and staging mock air raids.
The UN Interim Force in Lebanon said it would report to the Security Council on these violations.
