The Minister of Justice said that Latvia has frozen the property of Russians for 100 million euros, APA reports citing Westobserver.

Latvian Minister of Justice Janis Bordans said that the value of Russian real estate frozen in Latvia due to sanctions exceeds 100 million euros. RBC writes about this with reference to local media.

“As expected, the number of assets will continue to grow,” the minister said. In several million he estimates the motor transport belonging to citizens of Russia blocked in Latvia.

Only 49 properties fell under the restrictions. In addition, the Latvian authorities seized 66 vehicles associated with the sanctioned persons.
