Ukrainian Ambassador to South Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko (pictured) pleaded to South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin for more assistance to Kyiv, during the ministry's meeting to commemorate the one year anniversary since the beginning of war in Ukraine, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The envoy stated that as a "global pivotal state," South Korea should participate in international initiatives to bring about long-term peace in Ukraine.
Last month, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) urged Seoul to send additional military support to Ukraine, while underlining that North Korea's alleged delivery of weapons to Russia reinforces the need for the rest of the world to stay interconnected.
