“Exactly 30 years ago, on February 26, 1992, on a night full of cruelty, the blood of our compatriots was shed in the city of Khojaly in Karabakh,” said the chairman of Turkey's Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahceli, APA’s Turkiye bureau reports.
According to him, Khojaly is pearl of Karabakh, its corner which has a great strategic value.
“Khojaly, Karabakh is a Turkic land, the eternal homeland of Turks. No cruel act, no hostile environment will be able to change this historic reality. Acceptance of this clear fact is important and inevitable for regional peace,” he stressed.
