United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated on Thursday he expects Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "soon," although he did not clarify whether that will be in person or via a call, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Speaking to reporters before his trip to Brussels for the meetings of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Group of Seven (G7), Johnson noted Russian President Vladimir Putin has "crossed the red line." He added the UK and its allies will "increase the pressure" on Moscow.

Johnson previously stated Britain will provide Ukraine with 6,000 defensive missiles and high-explosive weapons and £25 million for military and police forces to help the country as it is experiencing Russia's military intervention.
