Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has announced that his Fidesz - Hungarian Civic Alliance won Sunday’s parliamentary election, APA reports citing TASS.
"We have won!" he wrote on Facebook (a platform banned in Russia since it is owned by Meta corporation deemed extremist by Russian authorities).
Hungary’s National Election Office said after counting 78% of the ballots that Fidesz and its ally, the Christian Democratic People's Party, were expected to get 135 out of 199 seats in the country’s parliament.
