The National Assembly (lower house of parliament) of France rejected another no-confidence resolution against the government of Sébastien Lecornu, APA reports.
This was confirmed by the results of the vote in the lower house, the session of which was broadcast on its website.
This resolution is the eighth since the inauguration of Lecornu's second government, formed on October 12, 2025, and the fourth in the past week. It was introduced by the right-wing National Rally party. Members of this party expressed dissatisfaction with Lecornu's decision to pass the third and final part of the state budget law without going through parliament.
This time, 140 deputies voted for the government's resignation. 289 out of 577 votes were needed to pass the resolution.
