"We attach great importance to the visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog. The step, taken with the visit in Turkish-Israeli relations, can be taken in other dimensions from now," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his interview with journalists, APA's bureau in Turkey reports.
According to Erdogan, solution points in taking steps regarding the Palestine issue may come into prominence during the visit: "We hope that we will take steps to strengthen the work with the upcoming visit. Another important issue is the steps, which will be taken in Turkish-Israeli relations in numerous different issues including natural gas. Once upon a time, we decided to take these steps, but we could not continue the process due to the negative view of the Israeli Prime Minister. However, very different things can happen now. We hope that taking the step between Turkey and Israel will strengthen relations between us and so will make the region peace basin for future."
