Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the situation in the South Caucasus with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, says the Elysee Palace, APA's local bureau reports.
During the meeting with the Turkish leader that Macron was determined to find a permanent political solution to the crisis between Azerbaijan and Armenia within the Minsk Group.
It was noted that Macron expressed satisfaction with the efforts made to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia.
The sides also discussed the situation in Ukraine and stressed the importance of avoiding war.
