"We have openly conveyed our messages to Sweden and Finland. Both countries must take concrete steps in the fight against terrorism," said Foreign Minister of Turkiye Mevlut Cavusoglu at a joint press conference with his Romanian and Polish counterparts in Istanbul, APA's Instanbul correspondent reports.

He noted that terrorism is the most asymmetric threat directed against NATO and its allies, and the fight against it should be included in the new strategic concept of the organization.

Moreover, Cavusoglu unveiled Turkiye's intention to raise relations with Poland and Romania to the level of the strategic union.

According to him, a summit of the leaders of the three countries will be held this year.
