"The bloodshed in Ukraine ann Aleppo bears the same meaning for us," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at the 48th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Foreign Ministers in Islamabad, APA's local bureau reports.
According to him, the war in Ukraine has revealed double standards: "There are those who say that this is not the Middle East, why there is bloodshed. The bloodshed in Ukraine and Aleppo bears the same meaning for us.
The Minister also noted that Islamophobia and Turkophobia are widespread in the world.
"Uighur Turks have to face difficulties to preserve their religious and national identities, and in India, one of the most Muslim-majority countries, there is a ban on headscarves," he said.
