A new round of negotiations with Russia may be held on February 26–27, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov said, APA reports citing Ukrainian media.
He noted that the main topic of the talks is territorial issues. According to Budanov, Russia insists on maintaining control over Donbas.
“We are approaching the point where all sides must make final decisions. We are moving slowly, but we are moving. You will only see the final result,” Budanov stressed.
He also stated that a prisoner exchange could take place this week and pointed out that the Russian side has not raised the issue of elections during the negotiations.
Budanov added that the Ukrainian side is doing everything possible to organize a potential summit between Zelensky and Putin, but for now, its implementation remains difficult.
