Natural gas extracted from the Sakarya field of the Black Sea in Türkiye has been delivered to land, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the official torch-lighting ceremony in the Filyos district of Zonguldak province.
During his speech at the ceremony, the Turkish leader said that 10 million cubic meters of gas will be extracted from the Sakarya field in the first stage, and 40 million cubic meters of gas will be extracted per day with new wells to be drilled in the future.
Recall that the total reserve of the "Sakarya" field, discovered in the Black Sea in 2020 by Türkiye, is 710 billion cubic meter.
