Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” hosted an event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Bulgaria organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria and the Center of Azerbaijani Language and Culture at the University of Sofia., APA reports citing the Embassy of Bulgaria.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov, administration, teaching staff, students of Sofia University, and other guests attended the event. Ambassador Huseyn Huseynov said that relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria are not limited to 30 years and have deeper historical roots. It was noted that active relations between the two countries in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres are developed.
