Romania to chair BSEC from January 1

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva- APA. Romania will chair the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation from January 1, 2011. APA reports quoting Romanian Foreign Ministry as saying that the priorities of the country which will chair the organization during 6 months will be the activity of economic cooperation, strengthening of interior affairs, especially combating the organized crime and corruption. Romania will take over the chairmanship from Greece. 12 countries, including Azerbaijan are represented in BSEC. The organization was established in May 1992.
