Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) is expected to spend $1.2 billion (over AZN 1.8 million) to Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), head of Investments Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Vagif Aliyev said.
According to him, total capital expenditures amount to $6.3 billion (AZN 9.7 billion): “TAP's initial capacity is 10 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas per year and this may be increased to 20 bcm”.
Aliyev noted that 19.5% works have been completed: “Totally, €877 million (AZN 1.5 billion) has been invested in the project”.
