BP-Azerbaijan comments on job cuts expected next year

Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. BP-Azerbaijan has commented on the job cuts expected next year.

The company told APA-Economics that the projects which implemented by BP in Azerbaijan are ong-term and significant projects: “BP is loyal to its obligations regarding these projects and will continue to fulfil them. These projects are successfully moving forward and will continue in accordance with the plans”.

The company is reviewing opportunities on increase of competitiveness, including elimination of organizational difficulties and increase of efficiency: “Of course,our organization needs to be more effective in accordance with the requirements of the business activity and this will provide our competitiveness. Therefore, we will focus on main spheres of business, security of labour and provision of reliability of our objects and operations. These will be our main objectives. This will allow us to be stronger and more competitiveness through conducting safe and reliable business operations”.
