Baku. Agshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. During January-November, 2014, Azerbaijani main pipelines transported 41.8 mln tons of oil, up 5.1% compared to the same period in 2013.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that ¾ of the transportation was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines. During January-November, this pipeline transported 31.5 mln tons of oil.
During the period, 5.0 mln tons of Turkmen oil brought to the country by ships were transported via the BTC pipeline from the Sangachal terminal.
During the eleven-month period of this year, the country’s main pipelines transported 19.6 bln cubic meters (+10.1%) of gas. 30.1% (5.9 bln cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum—South Caucasus Pipeline.
