An online meeting was held between the employees of the Information Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA), the regulatory authority for Azerbaijan's telecommunications and postal sectors, and representatives of the company Starlink, APA-Economics reports.
The meeting was attended by Rebecca Hunter, Starlink’s Director of Market Entry, and representatives of "Starlink Azerbaijan" LLC.
ICTA officials first provided information about the main duties and authorities of the regulatory body. It was then noted that, as a telecommunications operator, "Starlink Azerbaijan" LLC must also submit reports reflecting various aspects of its activities.
During the meeting, discussions were held about the report forms that the satellite telecommunications operator will submit to the Agency, the procedures for their submission, and other important issues.
At the same time, questions from Starlink representatives about ICTA’s activities, the Azerbaijani telecommunications environment, and other topics of interest were answered.
