Taking into account the reserves at the beginning of the current year, the volume of marketable natural gas reserves in Azerbaijan in January-June 2025 amounted to 21,613.1 million cubic meters, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
It was noted that 29.3 percent of natural gas reserves were consumed within the country, 58.7 percent were exported, 2.4 percent were lost, and 9.6 percent remained as reserves as of the beginning of July. 59.2 percent of the natural gas consumed within the country was spent on production needs, and 40.8 percent was sold to the population.
In January-June 2025, 12,682.1 million cubic meters of natural gas were exported, or 3.0 percent less than in the corresponding period of 2024.
