Gamet Suleymanov and his followers renounce Alikhan Musayev supporting radical religious groups in Syria

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Gamet Suleymanov, Imam of the closed “Abu Bakr” mosque, and his followers have issued a statement on Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev, who supported the fights between radical religious groups in Syria.

The statement signed on the behalf of students of Al-Madinah International Islamic University notes that Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev expressed solidarity with Salafists by contacting with Takfirs, attracting young people to Takfirism and supporting Takfiris: “Due to the repeated lies and avoidance to comment on some matters, the students demanded Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev to leave their ranks as long as they don’t demonstrate their path.”

Gamet Suleymanov told APA that Musayev’s recent activity is closer to Kharijites: “Unlike us, he supports the brothers fighting in Syria and stands against us.”

According to information obtained by APA, Musayev strongly supports the Syrian fights and is closely linked with mujahideen fighting against Bashar al-Assad.
