To him, the party leaders inside the National Council must make efforts in direction of registration of this institution’s candidate: ‘If the National Council can’t achieve this, or just does not believe it, then what can be spoken about the transition to democracy?”
Namazov noted that all the efforts for determination of a unity and single candidate made by the opposition so far resulted with failure: ‘If the Public Chamber announced its candidate in time, today there would not be need for the establishment of the National Council. Rustam Ibrahimbayov is the only candidate of the National Council’.
