Deputy Chairman of New Azerbaijan Party: â€œIt is impossible to speak with the leader of the powerful Azerbaijani state in harsh toneâ€

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Deputy Chairman of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov has commented on the recent reports of international organizations and statements urging to speak with Azerbaijan in a harsh tone, APA reports. Ahmadov said that those issuing such statements forget diplomatic tone and etiquette: “Azerbaijan is a quite powerful state and it is impossible to speak with the leader of Azerbaijan in a certain tone. Azerbaijan is cooperating with the European Union and other international organizations and has proved its honesty in these partnerships. Thus, it is impossible and inappropriate to speak with Azerbaijan in certain tone. I consider that we will once again witness this in President Ilham Aliyev's visits aiming at holding meetings with officials of the European Union. Europe and Azerbaijan are cooperating in various issues. I believe that Azerbaijan is of great value for Europe. The European Union understands it very well. It is impossible to exert pressure upon Azerbaijan and the leader won’t allow it.”
