Azerbaijani President: "Azerbaijan constantly feels the support of Muslim countries in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue"

Baku-APA. “Azerbaijan constantly feels the support of Muslim countries in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue”, - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at the meeting with ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions of Muslim countries in Azerbaijan, organized on the occasion of the holy Ramadan.

The President noted that the number of countries which recognize the Khojaly tragedy as genocide continues to grow and the first country that recognized the Khojaly tragedy as genocide was a Muslim state - Pakistan: "For many years, Azerbaijan has suffered from Armenian aggression. Nagorno-Karabakh is historically Azerbaijani territory. In Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding area has been pursued a policy of ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis. As a result of this aggression, more than one million Azerbaijanis became refugees and IDPs. Everything was destroyed in the occupied territories"

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reminded that the Fact Investigation Mission of OSCE twice visited the occupied territories, and noted destruction of the entire infrastructure there.
