Azerbaijani President: "Anti-national, traitorous elements once again show that they do not perceive what independence is"

Baku-APA. "Today’s successful development of Azerbaijan is real. It pleases us, our friends and upsetting forces that do not like us. Azerbaijan has become an extremely important country", - President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said on July 2 at the opening ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Centre of Police Academy of the Interior Ministry.

The President noted that the geographical location of Azerbaijan's position on geopolitical issues, energy, economic development, increase attention to the country: "We will follow the path of independence. Today independent Azerbaijan is a stabilizing factor for the region. We have no problems with the internal situation. There is unity between the people and the power. All of our initiatives are supported by the people. And those who want to oppose us, once again showed their true faces. They show once again that they do not perceive what independence is. Show once again that they are living with the slave mentality. Slave mentality is that they are in constan search of big brother. They want all the time to fall to someone’s feet. They constantly hold on someone's lap and beg for help. So, here it is the political picture of today's Azerbaijan: on the one hand - the Azeri authority, an independent policy worthy of the policy, the policy not to bow before anyone, on the other hand - anti-national, traitorous elements and groups - I can not even name their force - ready to embark on any path for the sake of their own personal interests. This is today's political palette”.

“Of course, the Azerbaijani person is wise people and clearly sees everything. People see who is leading the country where, and who wants to lead the country. Azerbaijan has more than 20 years as an independent state. There can not be any greater happiness. We will defend our freedom at any cost, to ensure the successful development of Azerbaijan", Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev noted.
