Ali Hasanov: â€œOpponents of Azerbaijani President say: â€œThe main thing is to get the consent of foreign countries and become presidentâ€

Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's policy is based on the national mood, national needs and national interests in the true sense of the word,” said chief of socio-political department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov addressing the general meeting of young scientists, APA reports.

Ali Hasanov spoke about the opponents of Ilham Aliyev: “Look at the opponents of Ilham Aliyev and where they are seeking support. One says: “I have not received consent of foreign countries for support yet. I can do with Azerbaijan and the people after receiving consent. I will arrive in Azerbaijan after managing it. The main thing is to get the consent of foreign countries and become president.” Look, where they are seeking support for Azerbaijani presidency?”

Presidential Administration official said Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev is not carrying out, nor will carry out election campaign. "He does not need to carry out election campaign. He does not think about the future of the elections, he thinks about the future of generations. The work done by him is his campaign. If the elite, avant-garde, the most intellectual part of the Azerbaijani youth supports Ilham Aliyev's candidacy, it means that the policy pursued by him is right," he said.
