Azerbaijan's CEC Chairman says will demand int'l observers to visit polling stations in the liberated territories

“We will try to have a large international observation mission visit the polling stations established in the liberated territories," said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), at a meeting dedicated to equal campaigning options and the basics of the activities of media subjects in Azerbaijan's presidential election, APA reports.

The chairman noted that the representatives of OSCE, and other international observers will express their opinions regarding the election: “They must evaluate the positive aspects and note the missing aspects so that we can eliminate them within the framework of cooperation. I will demand on behalf of all of us, let international observers go to the polling stations established in the liberated territories, including Khankandi. Representatives of other nationalities also live there and let them come and vote. In our meetings, I suggested that they observe how the voting goes in the liberated territories as well."
