President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev: â€œBilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine are intensifyingâ€

Ilham Aliyev reminded about his official visit to Kiev in May this year and noted that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine were intensifying. â€œThe bilateral issues on agenda are agreed within the national interests of both countriesâ€. President Victor Yushchenko said there was positive progress in the joint energy projects the two countries intended to carry out: â€œI am pleased with the progress of energy projects passed to the practical flatnessâ€. Victor Yushchenko called the opening of the Ukrainian great poet Taras Shevchenkoâ€™s monument in Baku on Monday as an important event. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ohryzko, Minister of Culture and Tourism Vasiliy Vovkun, Head of the Presidentâ€™s Office Ruslan Demchenko, Deputy Head of the Presidentâ€™s Secretariat Alexander Chaliy and Director General of the Ukrspesexport State Company Sergei Bondarchuk have joined the meeting from the Ukrainian side.
