Leader of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli met with the newly-appointed Norwegian ambassador to Azerbaijan Johan Ramberg, the party’s press service told the APA. Ali Kerimli informed the ambassador of the past and present activity of the party. They discussed socio-political situation, elections, freedom of speech and press, state of human rights in Azerbaijan and the country’s integration into Euroatlantic arena.
The Norwegian ambassador said that carrying out political and economic reforms in Azerbaijan coincides with his country’s interests. The diplomat noted that Norway attaches great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan. /APA/
