Serdar Jalaoglu’s claim to be considered in European Court of Human Rights

She said that Serdar Jalaoglu raised a claim against Azerbaijani government on the articles of the European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms “inhuman treatment while being detained� and “discrimination policy�. The claim says that a group of policemen rushed into his house and arrested him without valid accusations on October 13, 20003. The request says the policemen treated Serdar Jalaoglu roughly. Emma Helger said that the claims against the Russian, Bulgarian, Italian, French, Ukrainian, German, Croatian, Greek and Armenian governments will also be considered in the European Court of Human of Human Rights. The claim against the Armenian government was raised by Republic Party chairman Armen Mkirtichyan. The hearings will be held with participation of the judge from Portuguese Anxeuser Bucha. Plenipotentiary representative of the Azerbaijan Republic to the European Court of Human Rights Chingiz Askerov told the APA according to unofficial sources that the decision will be made on Serdar jalaoglu’s claim on January 11. European Court has not sent an official letter to the Azerbaijan government concerning it. Chingiz Askerov said that the decision will be made according to the correspondence between Azerbaijan and the European Court and open trial will not be held in connection with it. Seradr Jalaoglu complains of violation of the 3rd article (inhuman treatment while being detained) of the European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms. /APA/
